Questions, answered.

Is RidePe live?

Not yet. We are preparing a pilot in Hyderabad with a small number of shops and riders. Join the list on the rider or business page and we will contact you when your area opens.

What does a rider pay?

A flat daily pass on the days you work, and no commission on delivery fees. The pass price is announced before you pay and is confirmed when the pilot opens. Prices exclude GST; how GST applies to the pass will be confirmed before you pay.

What does a shop pay?

Pricing depends on whether you use your own riders or the RidePe rider pool. Your rates are shown in your dashboard after you sign in, and you always see the delivery fee before you confirm an order.

How does the OTP work?

The shop gives the rider a 4-digit pickup OTP. The customer gives the rider a 4-digit delivery OTP at the door. The app asks for the right OTP before marking an order complete. If a customer cannot be reached, our team helps sort it out.

Which cities?

Hyderabad only for the pilot. We will add cities when we can serve them well.

Do you hold my money?

In the pilot the delivery fee is recorded in a ledger. How payouts and settlements work at launch will be confirmed in writing before anyone is charged.

Is my data safe?

We store only what the forms ask for, for up to 180 days, and you can ask us to delete it sooner. See the privacy notice.

What about welfare and insurance for riders?

Platform-work rules in India are changing and differ by state. We are getting legal advice and will publish what we offer before launch. We make no promises on this page that we cannot yet keep.
